scenes from sapa
So last month, September, me and the girls took a trip to Sapa to escape the city life for a while and do a bit of trekking. It was fun.
Waiting for the taxi to take us to our train that would take us to Sapa :)
The gorgeous scenery that greeted us.
All smiles as we start the hike.
Taking a breather. We are so outta shape.
Kids playing some kind of catching game.
My guide down the hillsides.
Hey look, its a mini-Golden Gate.
Ahem... that just looks wrong....
Animals we saw along the way. Holy cow, those chicks are green...
Are we there yet? Oh, just down there.... the guide says... are you kidding me?!!!!!
Two hours later...Steph and Ha having a bit of rice wine.
And getting a bit buzzed.
"What are they talking about?" Patricia asks... Who knows, they're kinda drunk, remember?
Our sleeping quarters at the homestay.
What is this? The hillsmen entralled by the drama of America's Next Top Model. They get cable?
Getting ready for a swim.
Yes, little boys do ride buffaloes here.
On our way back from the swim, we meet a woman who just came back from a wedding. She got a chicken as a gift from her mother-in-law.
The view from the top.
